Know how to knit or crochet? Help Jen Fielder, RN by coming to the support group and making some Knitted Knockers! They’re lightweight, soft prosthesis’ donated to women who have just had a mastectomy. Don’t know how to knit or crochet? That’s ok, Jen will teach you.

It is free of charge, offered in a drop-in format, and facilitated by a licensed mental health clinician. |Tuesday, February 16th: Gynecologic Cancer Support Group. Let Every Woman Know is offering a regular support group free of charge in a drop-in format. |Wednesday, February 17th: US Too Guys Coffee and Shmoozing. Join Anchorage’s prostate and testicular support group in sharing, asking questions or just listening. |Tuesday, February 16th: Coffee with Don. Meet with fellow prostate cancer survivors to go over any new information/resources that have been encountered, talk about how to help anyone who has contacted the Kenai Peninsula Prostate Cancer Support Group and just have fellowship and support. |Thursday, February 18th: Kenai Peninsula Prostate Cancer Support Group. Small group of men whose goal is to increase awareness of prostate cancer issues on the Kenai Peninsula. Everyone welcome to come and meet with prostate cancer survivors for discussions, education and fellowship. |Monday, February 15th: Team Survivor Perseverance Walk/Run Program. This walking group focuses on heart rate. Meets on Mondays at 10:00am and Wednesdays at 5:15pm at Diamond Field House (until Spring) to walk indoors. There is also a yoga class on Saturdays at 10:00am.
